About

Hello, I'M Emma Pan.

I am a professional painter and art teacher. I got EB1A in 2016. I graduated and taught at Rhode Island School of Design, majoring in painting and drawing of contemporary art. This major ranks top 2 in the United States. In addition, I have another MFA degree in Chinese painting from the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, and I worked at the Shaanxi Provincial Chinese Painting Academy as a professional painter. For my BFA, I graduated from Shaanxi Normal University with art education. I have been working in art in the eastern and northeastern United States several years. Our family just moved to the Bay Area at the end of this summer because my husband is employed by Stanford University as a Clinical Assistant Professor.

I hope that while teaching, I can convey happy feelings and learning methods to my students in a relaxed way, not just learning painting skills. My courses mainly include the fundamental education of Chinese painting and modern American art's educational essence and aesthetics. The primary purpose of drawing on their strengths in Chinese and Western painting concepts is to cultivate a global aesthetic from an early age and lay a solid foundation for visual arts, so I teach in a small class of 4 people and hope to recruit students over 6 years old who are interested in art.

In addition to that, creating artwork is also my mission and destiny.
