Dancing in the Zoo Atlanta, water, ink, Chinese painting, rice paper, 72x36inch each

"Look at those Americans gathering together to dance again!" As the first generation of American immigrants, I can see some fragments that are very different from my original birth country every day. When I graduated, my peers invited me to participate in some of their dance parties, which made me feel very relaxed. Look at their messy and enjoyable dance; the unique but confident swing makes me feel more relaxed than ever. This kind of dance reminds me of the traditional national dances, fan dances, and peacock dances that I danced when I was a child, but I gestured with familiar gestures on my hands, but the steps on my feet were unfamiliar, slow, and inaccurate. It was shot on the street, but my heart relaxed. I dance here. I don’t need to dance like everyone else. I don’t need to be afraid of not jumping to get scolded by my mother. I am dancing for myself.
